Entrepreneurs Accelerator
The Immigrants & Black Entrepreneur Accelerator is the flagship program of the Center for Immigrants and Black Prosperity, designed to empower aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs from immigrant and Black communities with the tools, knowledge, resources, and networks needed to build successful businesses. The program provides participants with entrepreneurship training, business planning support, financial literacy education, mentorship, access to capital opportunities, and connections to industry experts and community partners. By helping entrepreneurs launch, grow, and sustain businesses, the Accelerator aims to create economic mobility, generate jobs, strengthen local communities, and break cycles of generational poverty. Through a combination of education, coaching, and practical support, the program equips participants to build long-term financial resilience and contribute to lasting prosperity within their communities. This is a self-paced program where Entrepreneurs are put in a training program. Upon successful completion, participants will have access to some benefits for their business venture.
The process

Apply
Complete the online application and wait for a staff member to reach out to you with next steps.

Learn & Build
Work through self-paced training modules covering entrepreneurship, business planning, financial literacy, marketing, operations, and growth strategies while developing your business foundation.

Validate & Launch
Apply what you've learned by refining your business model, validating your market, setting goals, and creating an actionable plan for launching or growing your venture.
04
Graduate & Grow
Successfully complete all required modules and milestones to graduate from the accelerator. Upon graduation, you will gain access to ongoing resources, mentorship opportunities, and community support.
Program requirements
Target Participants: The Immigrant & Black Entrepreneur Accelerator is intended for entrepreneurs who identify as immigrants, refugees, or members of Black communities.
To be eligible for the Immigrant & Black Entrepreneur Accelerator, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a resident of Washington State (Clark or Whatcom County).
- Have a business idea, startup, or a business that sells goods and/or services.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have reliable internet access and a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- Commit to completing all required self-paced program modules and milestones.
- Maintain an active email address and phone number.
- Demonstrate a commitment to building and growing a sustainable business.

- Certificate of Completion recognizing successful completion of the accelerator program.
- Access to Future Funding and Partnership Opportunities as they become available through the Center and its partners.
